Synthetic bedding techniques for the Model-70 Sporter

This course will outline the bedding and finish techniques will use for our Legend Sporters. While we use both Pre-64 and Current G series Model 70 actions exclusively these fundamentals can be applied for almost any similar bolt action. The course will go into detail in regards to stock selection, pillar material selection, prepping the inletting, prepping the barreled action, various bedding compounds and application, pad installation, swivel anchors, Carbon fiber verse fiberglass shells, final prep & painting. The course will be directed towards the use of our Legend stock but can apply to any stock that the participant chooses to bring. I will have an instruction booklet available and bring a power point presentation as well. The amount of hands on work individually completed will be based on size of the group in attendance and a willingness to participate by those in attendance.
