Introductory Pneumatic Assisted Engraving

This course covers the use of various pneumatic gravers on the market today. Special emphasis will be placed on setting up and adjusting the tools, tool sharpening techniques, maintenance, and cutting techniques.

  1. Students will exhibit skill in sharpening basic cutting tools.
  2. Students will exhibit skill in cutting basic engraving patterns with pneumatic devices.
  3. Students will exhibit skill in setting up pneumatic equipment.
  4. Students will be able to identify and appreciate quality engraving.
