Gunsmithing Business
This course will cover the steps you need to follow to set up a small business as well as the following:
- Budgets
- Basic keeping a check book, bank reconciliation, and identification of the expenses.
- Reading a P&L and Balance Sheet; basic ratios and what they mean.
- Breakeven point and pricing of product
- Sales Tax – applying for a number and figuring what is taxable
- Form 720 – Excise Tax and the Pitman-Robinson Act
- Applying for a FEIN (Federal Employer Identification Number)
- Payroll and the associated Taxes – how to figure payroll and then filing out the tax forms, which inclue 941, 940, Colorado Withholding, and Colorado Unemployment Insurance.
- Reconciling the cash drawer.
- Time Management
