Due to the high demand for firearms and related products, we highly recommend you order supplies for your courses as soon as possible.
We have put together a schedule we think you will enjoy including some new courses such as C02 Gun Repair with Randy Bimrose and Silver Wire Inlay on Gunstocks and Relief Carving on Gunstocks with Hugh Toenjes. We are happy to announce that Fred Branham from Browning will be teaching the 1911 course this year. In addition to our outstanding full-time Gunsmithing faculty - Keith Gipson, John McLaughlin and Ryan Newport - we will be welcoming back popular visiting instructors such as Dennis Potter, Glenn Fewless, John Holliger, Jim Stevens, Mike Pierson, Mark Beasland, Bob Calkins, Mike Taunt, Chuck Grace, Clayton Nelson, and Rich Machholz of Sierra Bullets,. We are also happy to have Brian Cumby back for his second summer as TSJC’s CNC Machining instructor. Each of these gentlemen is a master in their field.
New to the program for 2013 will be the addition of married-student housing. Single, male students will be housed in Romero Hall while married couples will be housed on the first floor of O’Conner Hall.
Also new this year will be the addition of activities for spouses of students through a partnership with local businesses. Based on your input, we are also working to schedule fun courses for your spouse on our campus. On and off-campus activities/classes will be listed on our website when the schedule is complete.
